By far one of the standouts of the Vegas music scene. Combining R&B, funk, soul, reggae, pop, alternative, and rock – PureJoyPeople is extremely fresh.
They also have a HELL of a vocalist in Pure Joy. She’s got a soul on fire, and her voice is a highlight in any genre, anywhere. Super pipes.
I never had the chance to see them live or even meet them, but I promise to change that!
Another duo group, but completely different from Almost Normal. Rob and Pure Joy are making some serious noise and I truly hope they get picked up by somebody and start being heard by EVERYone. It’s just too good not to.
“PuppyButt” is a 7 song EP of fun and good times. Great from the first note to last. Why does that feel familiar………. oh, right. Their name sorta kinda hints at that doesn’t it?
Drive yourself to Pacific Coast Highway, grab a fresh Boba Tea, pop this thing on, and just cruise. I guarantee you’ll be bobbing your head the whole time while making memories. That’s what PureJoyPeople feels like when you listen to them. A perfect summer day at the beach.
