Gord Downie, vocalist of the Canadian rock band Tragically Hip, passed away Tuesday, October 17th at the age of 53 due to brain cancer.

Former Celtic Frost bassist Martin Eric Ain died on Saturday, October 21st after suffering a heart attack at the age of 50.

Marilyn Manson co-founder and original guitarist Scott Putesky (Daisy Berkowitz) passed away on Sunday, October 22nd after a years long battle with stage-four colon cancer at the age of 49.

George Young, the eldest brother of AC/DC co-founders Malcolm and Angus Young, has died at the age of 70. He was a former member of The Easybeats, as well a producer (including for several AC/DC albums).
