San Francisco Metal band Arcane Ritual released their debut music video for the song “Entwined in Starlight” which is from their “Enemy of the State” EP, and upcoming album. You can read their press release below.

Arcane Ritual debuts their first music video for “Entwined in Starlight” which is not only 100% produced by the band members but the footage was taken along the iconic Point Reyes coastline north of San Francisco Bay Area.

“We wanted something primal and raw” says vocalist Teresa Camp “the feel of the video was meant to have an almost vintage, early 90’s feel with longer cuts and slightly over-exposed.”

Teresa goes on to explain “the song is about discovering a connection to nature through witchcraft and how that connection taps you into a timeless energy and inspiration.” Ritual elements immersed within the video along with the powerful beauty of the scenery lend nicely to the theme of the song.

“I remember being a kid living in Poland and seeing Death Angel’s video for Seemingly Endless Time (Act III), that was filmed on Ocean Beach in San Francisco.” remembers Jarek Tatarek (guitarist, song writer/producer) “I thought it was one of the most amazing things I’d ever seen. I never would have imaged someday I would live here and get to film my own music video on a beach in this area.”

Arcane Ritual currently has two singles out; ‘Entwined in Starlight’ and ‘What Lies Within’ and is getting ready to release their first EP ‘Enemy of the State’ to be followed by a full album. “Each song we write gets heavier and heavier” laughs Jarek “by the time the album comes out it’s gonna be so hard hitting, people won’t believe it!”

Hailing from the SF Bay Area, home of metal titans such as Metallica, Exodus and Testament, Arcane Ritual add’s a thrash twist to their unique brand of gothic metal. Currently the band is a duet made up of Jarek Tatarek (from legendary Polish thrash band Astharoth) on guitar/songwriting and Teresa Camp (from experimental Bay Area band Arcane Dimension) on vocals/lyrics. With heavy influences from gothic metal bands such as Type O Negative, Moonspell and Within Temptation as well as their thrash idols Kreator, Metallica and Testament metal fans will be pleased with how seamlessly this duo combines these elements.
