It marks two years since the release of “Ordinary Man.” Many people wondered if that would have been it for the Prince of Darkness. But, no need to fear. Ozzy Osbourne is back and better than ever with the release of, “Patient Number 9.” After months of teasers, the album is finally here.

Jam-packed with legendary and talented musicians such as Jeff Beck, Mike McCready, Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, and of course the return of Zakk Wylde. The absence of Zakk was felt on the last record, but no need to fear Zakk is back and on 4 of the 13 tracks.

With this all-star line-up, how does this album compare to prior Ozzy Osbourne releases, including “Ordinary Man?” Honestly, in my honest opinion, this album felt more like a traditional Ozzy Osbourne record than Ordinary Man did. Even though, I personally really enjoyed Ordinary Man for what it was.

Every track on this song is catchy with ball-crushing and eargasm-inducing guitar solos and some pretty heavy tracks. Believe this album has something for every Ozzy fan. Whether you’re a fan of the 80s era, 90s, or early 2000s. This album is jam-packed with a lot of fun tracks and very catchy tunes.

Recommend even the traditional Ozzy Osbourne fan to give this album a listen.
