After a long unintended break due to unnecessary legal drama, Davey Suicide is back with a new album of Industrial Metal awesomeness.

Get your fishnet and eyeliner on. Sex your hair out. Go have fun on a Saturday night at the local rock club, and let out your inner goth. Davey and crew will be the ones to smear the lipstick off your sweaty face.

I firmly remember him on Myspace. What I never imagined was that he’d have a band, and one that perfectly captures one of my most favorite genres. Seeing him live in 2012-2013 blew me away. Hell, his band blows Orgy away.

“Made From Fire” is made up of exactly what I wanted to hear. Kick ass, gravelly voiced, highly energetic, synth filled, late 90’s style electronic Metal. There’s even a guest spot from Twiztid, how’s that for keeping it authentic? Another positive are all the tasty guitar solos.

Despite the circumstances, it was worth the wait. I’m excited to catch them live again in the near future, review that show, and maybe even get an interview in!

Let’s hope that the next album will come much sooner and that everything is all worked out in that department. We need more of this in our lives. I know Davey will provide it… with conviction.

Standout tracks? Rise Above, Dancing with the Reaper, No Angel, Too Many Freaks, Anti-System Revolution, No Place Like Hell, Devil’s Night, The Chemical in You, Made From Fire
